Howell Named Corporate Facility Security Officer at Merrick & Company

Aurora, CO – February 5, 2010 – Trey Howell, GISP, of Merrick & Company has been named Merrick’s Corporate Facility Security Officer. In this new role, Howell will provide oversight for all of Merrick’s security programs associated with Federal and commercial clients. He will coordinate and monitor all aspects of U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission projects to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

Howell has been with Merrick for the past two years and had previously worked for the firm for another five years from 1998 to 2003. His career has focused on the geospatial and defense industries. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He also served four years in the U.S. Navy.
