Hugh Brightwell Hired as Vice President Construction Management At Montgomery & Barnes, Inc.

Houston, TX – January 14, 2010 – Wendell “Buddy” Barnes, President of Montgomery & Barnes, Inc., a Houston based civil engineering and consulting services firm, is pleased to announce that Hugh Brightwell has been named Vice President, Construction Manager.

Mr. Brightwell has over 24 years experience in construction management for various large capital projects and programs in Southeast Texas and Southeast Asia. He was responsible for projects ranging from $500,000 to $180 million, demonstrating diversity in working for both large and small public works entities, as well as private interests, and providing him with special insight into clients’ specific needs.

Mr. Brightwell’s experience includes estimating, scheduling, construction materials application and testing, surveying, interpretation of geotechnical data, constructability, claims management, contract review, value engineering and condition assessment.
