Los Angeles – Hunsaker & Associates-Los Angeles (H&A-LA), a Valencia-based civil engineering firm, has added professional land surveyor Stephen Gregerson to its team. Mr. Gregerson brings more than thirty years’ experience in the application of surveying and project management principles and will assist H&A-LA and its clients in the budgeting, preparation and management of land surveys, as well as in all phases of planning, permitting and engineering design. He was previously with Psomas for fifteen years, beginning as Project Manager and advancing to Vice President.

Most recently Mr. Gregerson provided consulting services for several large developments in the southwestern U.S. Mr. Gregerson’s consulting services for these projects included preacquisition due diligence, planning, agency negotiations, permitting/entitlements, budgeting and title surveys for the various projects. He is also an acknowledged expert in the preparation of ALTA Surveys, including providing management and coordination services on a national basis for REIT’s, portfolio managers and lenders. Clients include the national divisions of all major U.S. title insurers and real estate law firms, including the Times Mirror Corporation, Farmers Insurance, Hometown America, Affordable Residential Communities, Pirtcher, Nichols & Davis, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Tosco/Unocal.
H&A-LA’s survey team has extensive expertise in all phases of surveying, involving hundreds of projects throughout Southern California including specialized surveying for ALTA Surveys, aerial control surveys, construction/environmental staking, transportation, boundary, and property records. It is one of the few firms that pre-calculates 95% of the survey construction staking in the office, eliminating potential problems and construction delays.
