Merrick & Company's Doak Receives DBIA Certification

Aurora, Colorado – December 1, 2009 –  James Doak PE, Project Manager II of Merrick & Company (www.merrick.com), an 11-office engineering, architecture, design-build, surveying, and geospatial solutions firm, has received his Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) “Designated Professional” certification. http://www.dbia.org/Certification/. The credential recognizes professionals in the industry who possess a qualified and quantified level of expertise, including both education and experience, in design-build project delivery. Design-build project delivery combines the disciplines of planning, architecture, engineering, surveying, and construction into a seamless program for delivering newly constructed projects and renovated projects to clients.
