Aurora, Colorado –Sept. 28, 2009 – Merrick & Company has been awarded several new contracts. Merrick’s Life Sciences Group was awarded a major indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the European District Corps of Engineers to provide commissioning services for missile defense facilities in eastern Europe. Dobbins Air Force Base, Georgia, awarded Merrick’s Civil Engineering Solutions Group a drainage engineering task for airfield drainage repairs and Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, renewed Merrick’s IDIQ for its Merrick’s Military & Government Facilities Group for a third year. The firm also received additional civil engineering work from Rampart Range Metropolitan District.
Instituto Geográfico AgustÍn Codazzi, Bogota, Colombia, recently purchased existing LiDAR data, owned by Merrick’s GeoSpatial Solutions, for the City of Bogota. This project will include delivering the laser data along with Merrick’s proprietary software, MARS®, and training. Aurora Colorado Water has contracted with Merrick to provide bathymetric surveys for the Aurora and Spinney Mountain Reservoirs. The surveys will be used to update the capacity tables managed by the agency.
