Aurora, CO – August 28, 2009, – Merrick & Company is pleased to announce the certification of six individuals as Geographic Information Systems Professionals (GISP).
The certification is provided by the Geographic Certification Institute, a professional organization that establishes professional practice standards and competencies and certifies individuals in ethical conduct and professional practice. Applicants must meet certain standards in educational achievement, professional experience, and contributions to the profession in order to be certified.
The individuals now certified in Merrick’s Aurora, Colorado office include Rogelio Aguayo, photogrammetrist II; Silvio B. Aguilar, photogrammetrist II; Gerald M. Boyd, GSS project manager; Yaneev Golombek, GIS coordinator; Jonathan R. Stanwood, senior LiDAR specialist and Brian W. Holzworth, project manager.
