The program will allow reseller partners that are looking to provide the most advanced and accurate data for location-based applications and analytical solutions to add First American’s ParcelPoint® national parcel database to their offerings.
ParcelPoint is a database containing information on more than 113 million land parcels and its availability to resellers’ customers will enable them to access the most comprehensive parcel database commercially available for the United States. The data, which includes the parcel boundary, centroid (or geometric center of the parcel) and physical address is highly accurate and regularly updated by First American Spatial Solutions.
Parcels provide a wealth of information, especially where an exact property location is vital. Parcels can be used in combination with imagery and mapping applications to demonstrate exact parcel boundaries. When combined with geocoding applications like First American Spatial Solutions’ PxPoint™ geocoder, parcels provide an exact latitude and longitude for a property address. Parcel information can be associated to any other data pertaining to a location. Reseller partners can integrate the accurate location information generated by ParcelPoint into their own solutions to provide new capabilities for a variety of industries, including telecommunications, oil and gas, utilities and insurance.
ParcelPoint enables users to access the highest level of positional accuracy for developing location-based solutions, managing assets, maximizing efficiency and enhancing business analytics.
