Corbley Communications Awarded GSA Contract for Outreach Services

Winchester, VA., 5 March 2009 – U.S. government agencies may now purchase public outreach, media relations, graphic design and other communications services directly from Corbley Communications Inc. through the GSA schedule.

Corbley Communications, a small business providing public relations and marketing services to the international geospatial industry since 1993, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) under its Advertising and Integrated Marketing Solutions (AIMS) schedule.

“GSA created the AIMS schedule for government agencies that have a responsibility to make the public, congress and other federal agencies aware of the products and services they offer,” said Corbley Communications President Kevin Corbley. “The need for federal outreach is especially important today because so many agencies produce geospatial data sets that can greatly benefit private and public end users – if they know the products are available.”

Corbley Communications is contracted to offer AIMS services to government agencies under four special item numbers (SINs):
• Public Relations (including public outreach and media relations)
• Graphic Design (Small Business Set-Aside)
• Advertising
• Video Production

The GSA schedule dramatically simplifies and streamlines the procurement process for government agencies by pre-negotiating best-value competitive pricing, eliminating paperwork, and researching the bona fides of each contracted vendor. For many AIMS task orders, vendors and services may be chosen and purchased directly from the GSA Advantage website at www.gsaadvantage.gov. Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) may also be procured through the GSA schedule.
