The Employers Support for the Guard and Reserve is a group that has been formed to help the soldiers that comprise 65% of the active forces at our service worldwide. Most of the soldiers have a three legged stool approach to life, one of the legs being their family, the second being their military commitment, and the third, being their employer or company leg. When they are called to serve on weekends or for deployment for months at a time, it is up to the folks at home to take care of their jobs for them when they return. In spite of federal legislation, there are still challenges, so EGSR put together this boss lift to help employers understand how important of a role we play in helping our country defend our freedoms and rights as Americans.
