Carlson Software to Host 2nd Annual User Conference, April 5-7

Now is the time to ‘Break New Ground’

Maysville, Ky., U.S.A. (January 7, 2009) – Mark April 5-7 on your calendars to "break new ground" in learning and helping your business to grow and prosper at the 2nd Annual Carlson User Conference in Lexington, Ky.

Since Carlson Software offers the most completely integrated software solutions available across surveying, civil engineering, and construction, all new classes have been scheduled to show how Carlson brings users from "Concept to Completion." In addition, hands-on labs will be held and many of the classes will be split into beginner and advanced.

Learning tracks at this two-and-a-half-day event will cover the same land development aspects of Carlson Software: data collection, land surveying, civil engineering, construction and machine control; and mining. Classes include the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and will be offered by the accredited staff of Carlson College® as well as from the developers of the software.

Carlson’s first user conference, held last year in honor of the company’s 25th anniversary, was a great success. Feedback provided by those who attended has helped in the planning of this year’s Carlson User Conference, with the main purpose of the 2009 event being to help users "break new ground" and learn how to optimize the power of the versatile software even more. Carlson feels that gaining this ability is more important than ever – being able to do more in less time equals savings for Carlson users and their companies or clients.

Those who currently use Carlson Software products — including C&G and Simplicity — plan to use them in the future, or who just want to learn more about how Carlson can work for them should attend the Carlson "Break New Ground" User Conference. This includes: surveyors, civil engineers, mining engineers, construction engineers, partner manufacturers, and dealers. In addition to attending classes, attendees will be able to network and share solutions and best practices with both longtime and new Carlson users from around the world.
