Company to demonstrate how MrSID and JPEG 2000 images can be used in AutoCAD Map 3D, Autodesk Topobase 2008, and Autodesk MapGuide

Seattle, Wash. — November 25, 2008 — LizardTech, a division of Celartem Inc. and a leading provider of software solutions for managing and distributing digital content, will exhibit in Booth #417 at the 16th annual Autodesk University (AU) user conference and exhibition in Las Vegas December 2-4, 2008. LizardTech will conduct demonstrations in their booth showcasing how easily MrSID and JPEG 2000 images can be used in Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD Map 3D, Autodesk Topobase 2008, and Autodesk MapGuide.

“At this year’s AU conference LizardTech is showcasing its line of geospatial software products, which enable an efficient workflow for compression, storage, and distribution of large volumes of high-resolution images,” said Jon Skiffington, senior product manager. “We look forward to sharing our innovations for image compression and distribution with a targeted audience of Autodesk customers and partners. We’re particularly excited to show off how quickly and easily MrSID and JPEG 2000 images can be created, manipulated, and distributed for use in many of Autodesk’s applications.”

LizardTech’s Express Suite line of geospatial products combines the industry’s best image manipulation and compression tools with the best solutions for image storage and distribution in standard formats. The Express Suite products – GeoExpress, Spatial Express and Express Server – work together seamlessly and interoperate with virtually all geospatial applications and protocols.

Express Suite software meets users’ needs point for point along their workflow. From the moment georeferenced source imagery is received to the moment downstream users import the product into their GIS, Express Suite software provides easy-to-use tools that help users put their imagery to work where it’s needed.
