Lancaster, Pa. – RETTEW, a multidiscipline engineering, planning, land development, environmental consulting and surveying firm, today announced that Jack Turpin recently earned his licensure as a professional land surveyor (PLS) from the commonwealth. Turpin is a senior party chief in the survey group in the firm’s Lancaster, Pa., office.

With more than 50 surveying employees, RETTEW provides clients with one of the largest surveying corps in the Northeast. Last year the firm’s survey revenue totaled more than $7 million, with a portion of that profit resulting from survey work for natural gas exploration in the Marcellus Shale region of the Northeast. Additionally, RETTEW provided more than $.5 million in surveying services to Millennium Pipeline Company, LLC, on a 120-mile stretch of natural gas pipeline across New York’s southern tier and lower Hudson Valley.
As senior party chief, Turpin mentors and trains other members of RETTEW’s survey staff as well as assigns, supervises and reviews their work. With more than 20 years of surveying experience, which includes boundary and topographic surveys, GPS surveys and American Land Title Association (ALTA) surveys, Turpin has provided expertise on surveys for transportation-related projects and federal, state and local government projects.
Turpin is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and resides in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pa.
