Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc. Announces New Associate and Transportation Project Manager

Cheryl Gregory, PE appointed Associate and David P. Eno, PE hired as Transportation Project Manager. 

Detroit, MI (September 5, 2008) – – Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc. (SDA), a regional civil engineering and surveying firm, appoints Cheryl Gregory, PE as an Associate. 

Becoming an Associate of SDA is both a special recognition and added responsibility.  Members of SDA’s professional staff may advance to Associate upon evidence of professional growth and development and the bearing of increasing responsibilities.  Advancement to Associate is a management decision based upon strict guidelines and appointment by the Board of Directors. 

Cheryl Gregory, PE is the Transportation Department Manager with SDA, a consulting firm in southeast Michigan. Gregory received a B.S. in Construction Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1988 and is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

“Ms. Gregory came to SDA with a great deal of knowledge and experience in the transportation engineering industry.  Since her arrival at SDA, she has demonstrated leadership for our clients and our staff.  This appointment to Associate is recognition of her leadership at SDA,” said David A. Lakin, PE, President of SDA.

Also announced was the hiring of David P. Eno, PE as Transportation Project Manager. 

Eno comes to SDA with more than sixteen years of experience in the civil engineering profession focusing on MDOT transportation design, multi-discipline site design, pump station and municipal utility design, and drainage design.  He will serve as Transportation Project Manager in charge of road projects.  Eno received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University in 1992 and an MBA from Grand Valley State University in 1997.  Mr. Eno is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the Southern Oakland County Municipal Engineers (SOCME). He is licensed in both Michigan and Ohio.
