In his new role for GZA Blackburn will be responsible for developing business opportunities for New England and beyond. Prior to joining GZA he was with Gemini Geotechnical Associations. He brings over 28 years of experience in all aspects of geotechnical and environmental administration and project management, geotechnical instrumentation, field monitoring and laboratory testing. Additionally, Blackburn brings a wealth of experience in the management of marketing programs for business development in these areas. His educational background includes the U.S. Naval Academy where he studied Ocean Engineering as well as Northeastern University where he studied Civil Engineering.
