SECO Introduces a New Carbon Fiber Snap-Lock Rover Rod

SECO’s new lightweight carbon fiber rover rod features dual locking for added stability

Redding, CA — SECO Manufacturing Company, Incorporated recently introduced a new rover rod—the Carbon Fiber Snap-Lock Rover Rod.

This rod features a new one-piece design.  It’s faster and more user-friendly compared to traditional two-piece, screw-together rods.  It’s an ideal rod for all GPS RTK surveys.

The rod telescopes and can lock at three different heights, 2 m, 1.8 m or 1.6 m.  The locking points are marked on the inner rod.

There are two locking systems on this rod: The snap lock, which guarantees no slipping, and the compression lock, which centers the telescoping inner and maintains straightness.

This rod includes a 40-minute, adjustable circular vial.

The carbon fiber construction is lightweight, strong, and dent resistant. Carbon fiber features a zero coefficient of expansion.
