Tomoka Engineering Changes Name to Wade Trim/Tomoka

Newly branded, streamlined company; Focus on quality, innovation and integrated services; Delivering infrastructure solutions to clients throughout Florida.

Daytona, Fla. – Tomoka Engineering – a Daytona Beach-based land development, engineering, and surveying firm – recently announced a name change to Wade Trim/Tomoka effective immediately. The name modification reflects the merger and integration of Wade Trim – a national civil engineering and planning firm – and Tomoka Engineering, which took effect January 2007.

“This past year has proved to be a great transitional year,” stated Hal Burroughs, founder and Senior Vice President of Tomoka Engineering. “We have brought survey capabilities to Wade Trim and Wade Trim has raised our engineering capabilities far beyond traditional site design. We are pursuing larger, more complex projects together. The Wade Trim name brings a national reputation for quality and innovation.”

The addition of Tomoka’s employees last year allowed Wade Trim’s Florida staff to more than double. All six Wade Trim locations in the southeast have benefited from the influx of resources and experts, as each office now offers land development and survey services.

“Wade Trim is a strong name in the industry,” said Doug Watson, President of Wade Trim. “For more than 80 years, the Wade Trim brand has stood for the high standards of integrity, quality and innovation. The Wade Trim name is a source of pride for everyone in our organization, and this name change underscores the seamless merger with Tomoka throughout the past year.”

Wade Trim provides land planning, water/wastewater engineering, transportation, urban planning, landscape architecture, and surveying services to private development and governmental clients. An award-winning organization, the combined firms are currently working on major development projects in Volusia, Flagler, Taylor, Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Manatee Counties in Florida, as well as in Asheville, North Carolina.
