Professional Florida Land Surveyor Elected Cape Coral Council Member

Cape Coral, Fla. – DRMP’s Southwest Florida Area Surveyor Manager, Jim Burch, PMS, was elected as the City of Cape Coral’s District One, Councilman on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Cape Coral is, geographically, the second largest city in the State of Florida, with a population of approximately 170,000.

Burch was able to gain over 8,600 votes, garnishing 59.49% of the votes in District One- the most votes received in all five districts. His term will last two years.

Burch has over 30 years of experience in the surveying profession. He has provided surveying services in California, Florida, Maryland and Virginia.  Burch can be reached at 239-337-1109 for any information regarding the City of Cape Coral or survey matters in the Southwest Area of Florida.
