RETTEW Selects Eleven Employees as Firm’s First Associates

New Program Identifies Firm’s Up-and-Coming Leaders; Broadens Employee Ownership Opportunities

Lancaster, Pa. — RETTEW, a multidiscipline engineering, planning, land development, environmental consulting and surveying firm, today announced 11 employees as the firm’s first associates. RETTEW created its new associates program to recognize employees who consistently contribute to the firm’s growth, profitability and overall success.

“These individuals are dedicated to delighting clients on a daily basis and serve as role models in our organization,” said Mark P. Lauriello, president, RETTEW. “I congratulate them and thank them for their leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to RETTEW’s core values, mission, vision and purpose.”

RETTEW created the associates program to complement the firm’s principal shareholder program, which the firm launched in 2002, extending ownership of the privately held firm beyond its board of directors to other select leaders at RETTEW. RETTEW’s board of directors approves all associates program members and determines if an associate will enter the program at tier one or tier two. Both tiers provide employees with special opportunities for professional development and profit-sharing, but only tier two associates purchase an entry-level of RETTEW stock. The board determines whether a tier one associate may advance to tier two. With the board’s approval, associates may also graduate from the program by purchasing additional levels of stock and advancing to principal shareholder.
