Trimble Receives Order from U.S. Marine Corps for Construction Equipment

Sunnyvale, Calif., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Trimble announced today that it has received an order from the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command to provide survey, grade control and laser leveling systems for its worldwide construction activities. The purchase order is valued at approximately $8.8 million. Under the purchase order, Trimble will provide machine control and survey simulation training software, grade control systems, reference station base kits for graders, robotic total stations, automatic self-leveling laser packages, automatic levels, and associated accessories, warranties, and training for Trimble systems used on Caterpillar 130G road graders which will be used by the U.S. Marine Corps Units.
