Leica GeoMoS, an open, scalable and customizable software suitable for a wide range of monitoring applications, now with a new sensor licensing concept.
(Norcross, Ga., 23 March 2007) Leica GeoMoS Version 3.0, an upgrade to Leica Geosystems’ GeoMoS, is an open, scalable and customizable software package suitable for a wide range of monitoring applications.
"Version 3.0 includes a range of improvements for the two main applications, Monitor and Analyzer. The new version also introduces a new product structure and licensing concept, making Leica GeoMoS economical for small and large monitoring projects," said Gerard Manley, vice president of engineered solutions, Leica Geosystems, Inc.
"A new product structure makes the Leica GeoMoS software highly customizable, allowing users to purchase only the functionality they require," Manley added. The basic GeoMoS Monitor application can be expanded to include total station computations, limit checks and messaging.
The sensor license concept allows the user to scale the software with the number and type of sensors connected. Additional sensor licenses or software options can easily be added later as the need arises. With this new structure, Leica GeoMoS is a highly flexible and customizable software that is suitable and affordable for the smaller, simple jobs as well as larger, more complex monitoring projects.
A powerful and competent worldwide service and support network backs up Leica Geosystems’ structural monitoring solutions. Leica Geosystems’ customers benefit from the service and support that spans time zones and geography. The Customer Care Package (CCP program) provides customer support to suit their specific needs, whether using the simplest distance measuring device or the most sophisticated integrated solution.
