GeoShack Expands Survey Division

As evidence of our continuing commitment to the land survey market, GeoShack is expanding its survey presence in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and throughout the South Central U.S. through several recent resource additions.

Effective October 10, 2006, Mr. Shelby Hoffman has joined GeoShack as our Survey Business Unit Manager.  He will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Survey Business including sales management, distribution, and end user technical support.  Shelby holds a BS in Business Management and brings 11 years of land surveying experience to GeoShack with an NCEES PLS and LSIT under his belt.  In addition, he has spent over two years as a Professional Trainer conducting classes in RTK GPS and Robotic Total Stations for a major manufacturer.

Effective October 2, 2006, Mr. Jesus Flores has joined GeoShack as our new Survey Sales Specialist serving the Houston market.  Jesus has 5 years survey industry experience and has taken numerous surveying courses.  He looks forward to seeing all of his old customers soon.

Mr. Scott Beathard, President & CEO of GeoShack North America, welcomes Shelby and Jesus to the GeoShack Texas Survey Team.  He added, “We are excited to add both of these high caliber professionals, with the knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise they bring, to our organization”.

These two gentlemen make an excellent addition to our existing Survey Team of Mike Kszyminski (Fort Worth and West Texas), Chris Nelms (Central Texas), and Paul Isbell (Dallas and East Texas), who already bring over 50 years of expertise to our customers.  With our eight regional locations and 17 factory-trained and certified service technicians, GeoShack is your best source for survey technology, service, and supplies.

Another major advantage that GeoShack will bring to surveyors in the near future is our plans to build a multi-state, multi-constellation RTK Network based on Topcon’s new G3 technology.  The RTK Network will allow end users to operate more freely without being tied to a localized base station which means you can be more mobile, set up quicker, and expand your range; saving you time and money.
