Geomagic Expands Presence in China: Opens Wholly Owned Subsidiary in Shanghai

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA: July 19, 2006 – In a move to expand upon its market presence in China, Geomagic® (www.geomagic.com), a worldwide software and services firm headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, has opened a wholly owned subsidiary in Shanghai.

Geomagic (Shanghai) Software Co., Ltd. has been formed as a result of the increasing demand for Geomagic software in the Chinese manufacturing market. Previously, the company had a branch office to service its customer base.
