Image Tech, Inc. Expands Digital Mapping Capabilities

Bangor, Maine, 5 June 2006 – Photogrammetric scanning firm, Image Tech, Inc., announces the expansion of its capabilities to include full digital mapping services, including flight planning, aerotriangulation, compilation QC, editing, digital orthophoto generation, and mosaicking, in addition to continuing their established scanning and consulting services.

ITI will provide stereo compilation services in partnership with very experienced compilation firms. While the partners will furnish the actual compilation services, editing and QC will always be provided by ITI.

"I think announcing an expansion of our services is the best possible way to celebrate the first anniversary of Image Tech," said Lori Phillips, company founder. "This lets our clients simplify their purchasing, a benefit they identify as having value to them."

Phillips has a BS in Surveying Engineering from the University of Maine and has been active in the photogrammetric mapping industry for over 15 years. In 2003, she attained the professional recognition of Certified Photogrammetrist. In addition to continually advancing her own knowledge and experience, she is actively involved in promoting the mapping industry nationally. She currently serves on the Colonial States Boards of Surveyor Registration (CSBSR) team which is preparing a photogrammetric licensure exam for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) to facilitate individual states’ licensing endeavors.
