Tripod Data Systems (TDS) has named Daryl Stewart as Marketing Manager of the survey products division. Stewart begins his new position immediately and is responsible for all marketing efforts for TDS, Nikon and Spectra Precision survey products.
“Daryl is known and respected throughout the industry for his broad understanding of surveyors’ needs and expectations,” Stevens said. “His extensive knowledge and experience with surveying equipment and software makes him the ideal choice to lead our survey products team.”
Stewart joined TDS in June, 2003 as Marketing Product Manager for Nikon products. He has 25 years of experience in the surveying industry, including 11 years with Nikon Instruments as a systems manager and regional sales manager. He also spent 12 years in management, sales, support, marketing and development for a surveying and engineering software company. Stewart holds a B.S. degree in surveying from Curtin University in Western Australia.
