Psomas Announces New Principals

Los Angeles, CA (February 7, 2006) Psomas is pleased to announce the appointment of five individuals as Principals of the Firm as of February 1, 2006. “These individuals have each made a substantial contribution to Psomas’ success and its strong growth potential as we enter our 60th year,” said CEO Blake Murillo in making the announcement.
   
Northern California transportation team leader Robert Blume (right) has more than 22 years of experience in the design and construction of transportation facilities throughout the Western United States. His expertise spans the full range of public works projects, from roadways and bridges to light rail and airports.

Land development team leader Steve Speights (left) has managed several large-scale residential and commercial projects in the Sacramento region. With 35 years of civil engineering experience, Speights is an expert in site design, roadways, and drainage.

Ken Stram, (right)  Northern California construction management team leader, has been a key player in making construction management the fastest growing group in Psomas. He has nearly two decades of experience in project management and construction management.

A founder of MMLA, now MMLA Psomas, Thomas McGovern (left) is vice president and regional manager for Arizona. McGovern has amassed more than three decades of experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects for the public and private sector.

Land development team leader Sean Vargas, (right) based in Psomas’ West Los Angeles office, has designed and managed extensive utility master planning efforts, commercial and institutional developments, campus developments, and redevelopment programs, with sustainable design as a core focus.
