Baton Rouge, LA – C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, Inc. named Greg Palmer 2005 Marketer of the Year at the firm’s Annual Business Development Conference held on Wednesday, January 18th.
Bo Walters, Business Development Director for Fenstermaker says, “Greg’s contributions to the company last year and in years prior have been invaluable. Much of the growth of the firm over the years can be directly linked to his hard work and dedication. As the company has grown, Greg has been asked to serve in many capacities and he has always conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. His personal qualities, the strength of his family relationships and his deep loyalty to his friends have had far reaching social and economic impact on the firm. Management felt that it was appropriate to recognize Greg with this prestigious award.”
Mr. Palmer has been with C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates for twenty-two years and is a Professional Land Surveyor and currently Manager of Baton Rouge Operations. He is a member of the firm’s Business Development Division and is responsible for marketing the firm’s services and securing government contracts. Currently, Greg is responsible for opportunities with the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS), Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, and the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
The Palmer story spans 22 years with C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, Inc. serving the firm in numerous capacities. He has been Survey Project Manager on Fenstermaker’s large-scale mapping projects in the Atchafalaya Bain Floodway System for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District and Project Manager for the Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) throughout the State of Texas.
