Fort Collins, CO (November 2, 2005) – Spatial Data Technologies (SDT) announced today the release of CartoPac version 1.6. The CartoPac software is a complete mobile mapping software solution for customizing mobile mapping and data collection applications.
The release of CartoPac 1.5 introduced a variety of new features including increased navigation functionality with compass display, GPS constellation and signal strength disiplay, DGPS signal indicator, laser range finder support and auto-save options for projects on the mobile device. CartoPac 1.6 includes all of the 1.5 functionality plus new features that allow users to download selected features to the mobile device based on specified attributes and collect GPS data in Lat/Long projection. CartoPac 1.6 also supports the new Trimble ProXH, allowing CartoPac users to benefit from sub-foot GPS accuracy!
