Bowman Consulting Matches Employee Hurricane Relief Donations

Leading Engineering Firm Matches Employee Contributions To Help Hurricane Victims

Chantilly, VA — Bowman Consulting is pleased to announce that it is donating $20,000 to the American Red Cross to support those who have suffered staggering losses in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.  Donations are the result of an employee matching program held during the month of September where employee donations were matched dollar-for-dollar.

“We are pleased to assist the American Red Cross’s efforts to help rebuild the communities of those who suffered from this natural tragedy,” said President Gary Bowman. “I’m proud of our employees’ devotion to this worthy cause.”

Bowman Consulting has been an active community partner in the Washington Metropolitan area, donating to numerous organizations.  Most recently, Bowman Consulting chose Homestretch, Inc . , (www.homestretch.org), the largest provider of transitional housing and services for homeless families with children in Northern Virginia, as its primary charity.  Additionally, this past January, Bowman Consulting led a similar fundraising campaign for victims of the Tsunami, where employee contributions were also matched dollar-for-dollar.
