Optech announces the addition of Perry DesRosiers to its ALTM Sales Team

Toronto, May 10, 2005 – Optech Incorporated, the global leader in the development and manufacture of laser-based survey instruments, is pleased to announce that Perry DesRosiers has accepted the position of Regional Sales Manager, Canada, South & Central America, for the Terrestrial Survey Division.

Mr. DesRosiers has been with Optech since 2003 as a Sales Representative for the Laser Imaging Division and brings a wealth of success and experience in the geospatial industry to this new position in the Terrestrial Survey Division.

Mr. DesRosiers’ new position is the latest in Optech’s continuing effort to streamline the ALTM sales team across geographic regions, thus giving a stronger and more focused sales experience to its customers.

Before joining Optech, Mr. DesRosiers held the position of Regional Sales Manager, Central USA and Canada, at Thales Navigation. Mr. DesRosiers has also held sales positions with Trimble Navigation Ltd. and Cansel Survey Equipment.
