GeoVantage Names John Prisco President and CEO

Prisco brings more than 25 years of leadership in high growth
technology ventures to the GeoVantage team

Swampscott, MA, April 5, 2005 – GeoVantage, Inc. today announced that John Prisco has joined the GeoVantage team as President and CEO. Mr. Prisco has more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions in entrepreneurial environments, demonstrating particular expertise in developing strong market franchises.

In explaining his approach to business development, Prisco said, “I am a go-to-market CEO. My teams are expert at understanding customer needs and delivering products and services that meet those needs.”

Mr. Prisco most recently served as President and CEO of Ridgeway Systems & Software, Inc., a UK-based software company specializing in secure firewall traversal. Ridgeway leveraged its unique intellectual property and best-of-class software products to be acquired by Tandberg Incorporated in 2004.

Prior to Ridgeway Systems, Mr. Prisco was President and CEO of Elink Communications, a building-centric data and voice provider. At Elink Mr. Prisco acquired select assets of On-Site Access Incorporated, thrusting Elink into a dominant position among New York City BLECs. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Prisco served as President and CEO of 2nd Century Communications, the nation’s first packet-based communications network, raising $155 million from venture capital firms to fund the company’s growth.

With a diverse skill set and proven track record, GeoVantage is delighted to retain Mr. Prisco to lead the company. Executive Vice Chairman William Pevear, who co-founded GeoVantage in 1998 has stated, “John’s particular skills and experience are a vital piece that will further the success of our team.”

Mr. Prisco holds a B.S in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
