Los Angeles, CA — February 2005 — Psomas is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Crehan and Craig Gooch as Principals of the firm as of February 1, 2005. “Mike and Craig have contributed substantially to the firm’s success. They each exemplify the values and beliefs of Psomas,” said CEO Blake Murillo in making the announcement.
Mike Crehan has more than 16 years of comprehensive civil engineering experience including hydrology studies, design and plan preparation of predominantly private development projects, and project management. His design and management approach has proven successful on a variety of large projects in many jurisdictions.
Currently a Land Development Team Leader in Psomas’ Los Angeles office, he has been with Psomas for six years. Crehan began his engineering career after serving in the United States Marine Corps, leaving as a Captain. A Cal State Los Angeles graduate, he is a licensed engineer in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Craig Gooch leads the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) consulting Team out of Psomas’ Riverside office. Gooch has more than 27 years of experience developing and implementing GIS, the last 10 years at Psomas. He provides consulting services throughout the Western United States in the development and integration of information systems.
An industry leader who actively participates in several professional organizations advancing the GIS profession, Gooch is the current Chairman and a Founding Director of the California Geographic Information Association. Gooch holds a degree in Geography from UC Riverside and helped start a GIS Certificate program through the UCR Extension.
