Keynotes open premier event on "Enabling the Spatial Enterprise"

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Jan. 19, 2005 – Intergraph <NASDAQ: INGR> Mapping and Geospatial Solutions today announced keynote speakers for GeoSpatial World

2005 will be Intergraph CEO and President, Halsey Wise; Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions President, Preetha Pulusani; and The Delphi Group President and Co-founder, Thomas Koulopoulos. Themed "Enabling the Spatial Enterprise," the fifth annual conference will be held April 26-28 in San Francisco, Calif. The international training and management conference, sponsored by Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions and the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), is the premier event for Intergraph customers and individuals interested in learning more about managing and applying geospatial information and solutions from an international perspective.

During the opening keynote address on Tuesday, April 26, Wise and Pulusani will provide insight on how enterprises can incorporate an open spatial approach to prepare them for current and future success. The presentations will include Intergraph’s commitment to the geospatial industry and its technology leadership in spatial information management solutions.

Named one of the industry’s most influential information management consultants by InformationWeek magazine, Koulopoulos will begin the sessions on Wednesday, April 27. In his keynote address, he will explore the role of technology and globalization in building an enterprise that goes beyond just re-engineering to make adaptability, innovation and empowerment a constant part of the organization.

Technical program features more than 200 sessions The keynote addresses kick off a three-day technical program with more than 200 sessions focusing on how geospatial technology and solutions are being applied. Sessions include thematic sessions, technical presentations and demos, panel discussions, hands-on and lecture workshops, keynote and plenary sessions and IGUC Network meetings. The technical program will be organized by tracks for the Utilities and Communications, Transportation, Military and Intelligence, Government, and Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing industries. In addition, a Foundations track will include topics that are broad in scope and applicable to more than one industry, such as spatial analysis, data management, metadata standards, enterprise warehouses and location-based services platform technology, as well as topics on products and technology in general. A Really Neat Stuff track will showcase new and innovative use of Intergraph technology being applied in industries outside of Intergraph’s traditional markets.
