SECO builds a new type of Prism Pole Bipod with an innovative locking mechanism
Redding, CA — SECO Manufacturing Company, Incorporated recently introduced a new type of prism pole bipod.
The new SECO Quick-Release Prism Pole Bipod (#5211-01-XXX) features “direct drive” release handles that put the power right in the surveyor’s hands. While holding the handles, the leg points can be driven into the ground and then quickly leveled with the pole’s vial. Break down is just as simple, simply squeeze the handles to collapse the legs, release to hold in portable position and move to the next location.
The open-head clamp features a standard SECO 5-lobe soft knob and stainless steel clamp screw. This new bipod will fit poles with a diameter of 1, 1.25 and 1.50 inches.
The simple, positive locking mechanism alone is sure to give the industry standard SECO Thumb Release Bipod a run for its money.
