On Wednesday, November 5th, BHC RHODES hosted their 9th Annual Community Leadership Breakfast, an event where the company recognizes a professional from the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry who spends a significate amount of personal time giving back to the community. Mr. Kevin Tubbesing, Principal at The Land Source was the honoree this year. Tubbesing was recognized for his work internationally to aid humanitarian efforts in Mexico, Panama, Peru, Kenya and Haiti and the leadership role he played on those missions.
Tubbesing has been an integral part of five humanitarian missions. These international projects were to promote literacy, improve health through clean water, sanitation practices, nutrition and education. Mr. Matt Besler, defender for Sporting Kansas City soccer team, presented the award on behalf of BHC RHODES. Guest speaker, Jim Mattes with Mattes Appraisal Company spoke in depth about Tubbesing’s impact on the lives he has touched.
