Having completed compatibility testing with SVN-68 at Cape Canaveral, PRN-09 has been reassigned to the now decommissioned SVN-39 for a Rubidium AEP clock checkout. SVN-39 will hold PRN-09 until SVN-68 is launched, tentatively scheduled for 31 July, 2014. It should be reiterated, PRN-09 remains UNUSABLE and will not be included in the almanac until further notice.

*** GENERAL MESSAGE TO ALL GPS USERS *** On approximately 13 JUN 2014 SVN39 will resume transmitting L-band utilizing PRN09. At L-band activation, SVN39/PRN09 will be unusable until further notice. Additionally, no broadcast almanacs will include SVN39/PRN09 until further notice.
