Danvers, MA, August 10, 2026 — Hancock Associates, a leading provider of land surveying, civil engineering, and wetland science services, is pleased to announce that Jason Ellis, P.L.S., has been promoted to Vice President.
As Vice President, Jason will work to strengthen business development efforts, assist day-to-day operations, and enhance the firm’s QA/QC processes to ensure that Hancock Associates continues to provide the highest level of service and excellence to its clients.
Jason joined Hancock as an Instrument Operator nearly 30 years ago and has steadily advanced his career, including becoming an Associate of the firm in 2017. He became Survey Manager–Eastern Operations to lead the Boston, Chelmsford, Danvers, and Newburyport offices in 2025. Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Regional Planning with a minor in Cartography from Westfield State College and is a Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) and lives in Danvers, Massachusetts.
