Newark, Del. — July 21, 2026 — McKim & Creed has strengthened its surveying leadership in Delaware with the hiring of Barry Gleissner as regional survey director in its Newark office.
Gleissner brings more than 45 years of surveying experience and will lead survey operations throughout Delaware and the surrounding region. He will oversee project delivery, support business development and mentor technical staff while serving public- and private-sector clients across transportation, land development and infrastructure markets.
Licensed in Delaware and New Jersey, Gleissner has managed a wide range of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title, topographic, construction and right-of-way surveying projects. He served as president of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors and was named the organization’s Surveyor of the Year in 2018. He also served as the president of the Delaware Association of Surveyors.
“Barry’s technical expertise, leadership experience and commitment to developing people make him an excellent addition to our geomatics team,” said McKim & Creed Senior Vice President David Jones. “His knowledge of the Delaware market and his reputation within the profession will help us continue delivering exceptional service to our clients while supporting the growth of our survey practice.”
Gleissner said he looks forward to helping expand the firm’s survey services throughout the region.
“McKim & Creed has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and client service,” Gleissner said. “I’m excited to join an employee-owned firm that values collaboration and investing in its people. I look forward to working with our team to support clients across Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic.”
