Danvers, MA, March 9, 2026 — Hancock Associates, a leading provider of land surveying, civil engineering, and wetland science services, is pleased to announce that Christina Essom has been promoted to Project Manager.
Christina joined Hancock Associates as a Staff Surveyor in 2012 and became a Project Surveyor in 2014. In 2025, she was elevated to an Associate of the firm to help further the success of the company. As Project Manager, Christina will continue to conduct research, perform boundary calculations, and draft ALTA/NSPS, Existing Conditions and Cadastral plans as well as other plans related to different aspects of the construction industry. She will also supervise staff and field crews and assist with estimating new projects.
Christina studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE). She is also the winner of ten MALSCE annual Plan and Field Notes Contests and is an active member of Hancock’s Emerging Professionals Group, CAD Committee, and Events & Activities Committee. Christina is involved in the Hopkinton Middle School Ski Club, a former member of the Hopkinton Historical Society, and lives in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
