Maysville, Kentucky, USA (September 8, 2025)– Carlson Software’s latest CAD software releases—including Survey, Civil, Hydrology, GIS, Mining, and Point Cloud—introduce new features, enhancements, and powerful tools designed to boost user efficiency in the office. Carlson 2026 also features IntelliCAD 13.1 as well as compatibility with AutoCAD® 2026.

From more powerful pit design in mines to fast design of driveways, traffic islands and streams, to automated extraction of road edges and open pit breaklines, Carlson 2026 brings advances for users of every sort. Here are a few of the highlights:

LotNET now supports Custom Setbacks for control over a-typical setback requirements and corner lots.

The BANKPRO command will create a Template Point Profile that will elevate a template ID for external curves of a stream.

For those power users, IntelliCAD 13.1 now supports the full use of Dynamic Blocks:
Including Moving, Stretching, Rotating and Visibility States. This allows the modification of blocks without the need to explode or recreate.

Exporting a Civil 3D drawing can assign Carlson points, surfaces and centerlines to existing Civil 3D object styles:

In Mining, The new PitMaster command allows for easier pit designs including multiple roads and switchbacks using a faster polyline-based workflow:

Reworked Surface Mine Autorun setup allows for easier bench-by-bench volume calculations. Users no longer need to create surface files to define bench tops and bottoms.
