FIXAR congratulates the Latvian team on the victory! This year at the FAI World Space Modeling Championship, the Senior Team from Latvia secured the 1st place position in S-8-E/p (Radio Controlled gliders with rocket boosters) – the most challenging space modeling class, beating Team USA claimed the 2nd place spot, and Team China achieved 3rd.
With over 172 competitors from 18 different countries, this exciting large-scale FAI event was taking place in Austin, Texas, USA from Sunday 2 July to Friday 7 July. Latvia is one of the smallest countries to participate in the World Championships, but one of the biggest teams – 12 people in total!
In addition to the team’s success, FIXAR’s employees – Karīna Limora showcased her exceptional skills and took home the World champions title in the female competition. Māris Juris Brakovskis also displayed remarkable performance, securing the 2nd place position in the individual category.
