Irvine, California – April 11, 2023 – Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is very pleased to welcome Joseph Bartorelli to its Irvine Corporate Office as the firm’s new Geospatial Program Manager.
Joe brings exceptional professional qualifications and expertise in the oversight of geospatial programs. He has more than 25 years of business management, photogrammetric practice and overall geospatial experience, and is an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist and GISCI Certified GIS Professional. Joe has held prominent positions in the geospatial industry, as the Founder and President of his own geospatial technology company, as well as Director of Geospatial/Vice President at other firms. Joe has strong, practical experience and knowledge in digital mapping, remote sensing, ground/airborne-based LiDAR, airborne GPS/IMU technology, aero triangulation, UAV/Drone technology and Geographic Information Systems. He is well versed in all manner of geospatial technology, including:

As Fuscoe’s Geospatial Program Manager, Joe is responsible for the development and implementation of geospatial technology for all of Fuscoe’s engineering, mapping and survey staff. Joe works with Fuscoe’s project managers, clients and/or project architects to establish scanning, mapping and modeling objectives, accuracies, deliverables and requirements. He develops accurate proposals, including flight plans with control networks; detailed scanning and modeling workflows to derive project deliverables; and QA/QC protocol. He also serves as the point-of-contact for all on-going geospatial and GIS jobs, including overseeing any field or post-processing work. One of Joe’s goals is to expand Fuscoe’s 3D Animation Services for the real estate industry to include interior and exterior renderings, aerial renderings, animations/videos and 360 virtual tours. He also is dedicated to pursuing machine learning and Al initiatives and R&D related to civil engineering, site and building assessments, point clouds and 3D modeling. Joe’s position also involves business development and marketing of geospatial services to secure new clients and add-on services for existing clients.
