Manassas, Virginia, Thursday, June 11, 2020 – The Institute of Navigation (ION) is announcing that the ION GNSS+ 2020 will now have a virtual option for those unable to attend due to travel restrictions. With the goal of increasing global accessibility to everyone who wants to participate, the ION GNSS+ 2020 virtual option will mirror the technical program being presented live, September 21-25 in St. Louis, Missouri, giving attendees access to the latest GNSS developments and premium content through an innovative and timely online experience. In addition, virtual meeting attendance will be free for all first-time ION GNSS+ attendees.
Keynote Plenary and Panel Sessions
Two session tracks will be live streamed, including the keynote plenary session; all panel sessions, including the much-anticipated Status of the Systems Update panel; and a mix of other sessions from various technical tracks. Virtual attendees will be invited to participate in a moderated Q&A. Sessions that will be live streamed have been notated on the online program.
Technical Sessions
All technical sessions will be audio-recorded as they are happening live in St. Louis, Missouri and uploaded with slides to the ION GNSS+ 2020 virtual conference site. Virtual attendees will have the option of viewing all technical presentations on demand and on their own schedule. The virtual conference option does not include the pre-conference tutorials or pre-conference short courses. Virtual attendees will receive the official ION GNSS+ 2020 Conference Proceedings.
Exhibit Experience
Recognizing that on-site industry partners want to connect with ION GNSS+ 2020 virtual attendees, ION is providing an expanded online exhibitor profile that will allow exhibitors to upload a complete company profile with sales and contact information, upload their company logo and company brochures, and will include a link that allows attendees to email an exhibitor directly to ask questions or set up a phone or virtual appointment. In addition, exhibitors can record and post a link to their own exhibitor demonstration in their profile.
FREE Virtual Conference Registration for First-time Attendees
Wanting to make ION GNSS+ available to a broader global audience, the Institute of Navigation is offering FREE virtual conference registrations for ION GNSS+ first-time attendees.
Virtual Conference Registration, COVID-19 Economic Impact Discount Available
For organizations or individuals that require financial assistance to participate in ION GNSS+ 2020, ION is offering a COVID-19 Economic Impact Discount for the virtual option.
