Houston—McKim & Creed, Inc., one of the top design firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce that Todd Odham, RPLS, and Michael Knowles, CPSM, have joined the company’s geomatics team in Texas.
Mr. Odham comes to McKim & Creed as a project manager in the Houston office. During his nearly 30-year career, he has honed superior project management, supervisory and technical expertise, and is skilled in both the onshore and offshore environments. He has managed oil/gas pipeline projects in Texas and New Mexico, and has conducted the day-to-day management and field crew coordination for various project types. These include TSPS Category 1A and 1B surveys; ALTA/NSPS land title surveys; electric transmission lines; GPS control surveys; municipality utility surveys; subsidence surveys; TxDOT route surveys; oil and water pipeline as-built and preliminary route surveys; utility easements; elevation certificates; right-of-way verifications and utility locates for cell phone tower placement; and topographic and land development projects.
Mr. Knowles has joined McKim & Creed’s Dallas/Fort Worth team as a regional business development manager. For more than 20 years, he has led the strategic, marketing and business development activities of firms in the engineering and construction industry. He is active in such industry organizations as the American Council of Engineering Companies, the Society of American Military Engineers and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). He has earned the designation of Certified Professional Services Marketer from SMPS. As the regional business development manager, Mr. Knowles will focus on building client relationships and expanding McKim & Creed’s client base in Texas.
