Tustin, California – May 15, 2018 – The U.S. Institute of Building Documentation (USIBD) will host its next USIBD Meet-up during the SPAR 3D and AEC Next Conferences on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 2-5 pm in room 210B at the Anaheim Convention Center. Everyone attending the conferences is welcome to attend the Meet-up. The SPAR 3D and AEC Next Conferences dates are June 5-7, 2018 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.
An overview of USIBD will be presented to introduce what USIBD’s committees are working on to further the mission of the organization, followed by a presentation of this year’s discussion topic with break-out groups, followed by a full-group discussion to identify ideas and solutions.
This year’s Meet-up discussion topic is: "Have you built a BIM from record drawings? If so, how can you be certain it matches what really exists? Come hear industry experts discuss the secrets to limiting your risk." Four questions will be set up for the break out groups. At the end of the year, the findings from each Meet-up will be compiled, and published in a paper.
