Intuicom Announces Bluetooth BRIDGE Engineered Specifically for Autodesk BIM 360 Layout

Bluetooth Connectivity Extends the Range and Field Performance of Autodesk BIM 360 Layout

Las Vegas, NV (Autodesk University 2017) – (November 14, 2017) – Intuicom, Incorporated, a premier supplier of wireless data solutions and pioneer of wireless connectivity for the survey, machine control, and precision agriculture industry, announced today, at the opening of Autodesk University 2017, the release of Bluetooth BRIDGE™, a rugged, compact, yet powerful device that allows the use of Autodesk® BIM 360 Layout via long-range Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth BRIDGE overcomes two of the biggest connectivity issues field users of Autodesk BIM 360 Layout encounter: signal loss due to WiFi interference and limited WiFi range.

Demonstrations of the Bluetooth BRIDGE will be conducted in the Leica Geosystems booth (B427) in the Exhibit Hall during Autodesk University 2017.

“Our new Bluetooth BRIDGE was engineered specifically to overcome the limitations that WiFi presents Autodesk BIM 360 Layout users when they are on site conducting field layouts and verifications,” states Tom Foley, president and CEO of Intuicom, Inc. “Now users can experience enhanced connectivity between Autodesk BIM 360 Layout and their robotic total station at distances up to 500 meters. The result is unmatched field performance and connectivity.”

Supporting iOS, Andriod, and Windows handheld devices, Bluetooth BRIDGE weatherproof design features an integrated battery providing 12 hours of extended run time. Bluetooth BRIDGE is compatible with industry leading robotic total stations including Leica, Topcon, and more.

The Bluetooth BRIDGE is available for purchase through any Intuicom Authorized Reseller. Additional information can be obtained at www.intuicom.com.
