You have completed the traverse as shown and would like to check it for closure before returning to the office, but your calculator died. You have that 1 old non-trig function one that at least has an addressable memory , , x2, x , x and if you’re really lucky, a y key and x! key. You have no trig tables but do 3 5 7 9 remember sin x = x ­ x + x ­ x + x (where x is in radians) and cos x2 + sin x2 = 1. 3! 5! 7! 9! Can you check it? (The bearing shown is a given.)
