The 2016 Surveyors Rendezvous, an annual event presented by the Surveyors Historical Society, will focus on the surveys of Verplanck Colvin, who surveyed the Adirondack Mountains and was instrumental in establishing the largest park within the U.S. The Rendezvous will include classroom instruction, excursions, and the dedication of interpretive signage related to Colvin’s work.
