Meet Velodyne LiDAR at Sea-Air-Space Exposition May 16-18

Not a Magic Bullet – But Perhaps a Magic Puck

At the Navy League’s Sea-Air-Space Exposition  – May 16-18 at the Gaylord National Convention Center, just outside Washington, D.C. — Velodyne LiDAR is about to extend its lead in technology for security and defense applications.

Velodyne LiDAR continues to transform a market – make that markets — in hyper-growth mode.  The company is recognized worldwide for developing high-definition LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors for UAVs and drones, navigation systems, 3D mapping and surveying, robots on land and sea, and, famously, autonomous vehicle applications.  Indeed, Velodyne LiDAR is as close as you can get to an industry standard, across a growing number of industries.

At Sea-Air-Space, raising the bar higher still, Velodyne will showcase its new Puck LITE™ 16-channel real-time 3D sensor — combining best-in-class performance with a small form factor and the high reliability that UAV applications demand.  At 590 grams, it’s the world’s lightest 16-channel LiDAR sensor – ideal for UAVs.  By reducing sensor weight by almost 30 percent, Puck LITE enables longer flight times while giving nothing up in functionality.

You’re invited to meet Velodyne LiDAR in Booth #1652.
