Property Records Industry Association Elects Officers and Directors

Morrisville, N.C. – During its August 24-27 Annual Conference in Louisville, Ky., the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) elected seven directors in three categories for two-year terms on the Board of Directors.

Larry Burtness, recorder, Washoe County, Nev.; Chris Walker, clerk, Jackson County, Ore.; and Val Wood, chief deputy recorder/clerk, San Diego County, Calif., were elected directors in the recorder category. This is Walker’s first term on the Board of Directors.

Charlie Epperson, chief technology officer, SigniaDocs; Karl Klessig, president, CSC eRecording Solutions; and Zachary Zaharek, vice president and senior corporate counsel, First American Corp.; were elected in the business category. All three have served previously on the Board of Directors.

Mark Ladd, vice president of regulatory and industry affairs for Simplifile, was re-elected for another two-year term as an at-large director.
