Bentley Expands Reach of Bentley LEARNing Conference by Hosting Events Around the Globe

Each of the Conferences Is Open to All Bentley LEARN and Enterprise License Subscribers, at No Additional Charge, and Provides Focused Learning on Software Applications for Specific AECO Workflows

Exton, Pa. U.S.A. – April 29, 2014 – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, today announced that it has expanded the reach of its highly anticipated annual Bentley LEARNing Conference by transforming it into multiple events hosted in different locations around the globe throughout the year. The individual conferences will be dedicated to software applications for specific architectural, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) workflows.

In 2014 there will be eight Bentley LEARNing Conferences in seven locations – across the U.S. and in the U.K. and Germany. Each conference delivers to Bentley LEARN subscribers and Enterprise License Subscribers a focused learning experience through hands-on workshops and information-packed lectures – as a benefit of their subscriptions. These sessions will help them take best advantage of their Bentley software in the shortest possible time. In addition, through its Authorized Provider accreditation with the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, Bentley will offer IACET continuing education units for a majority of the sessions, helping users achieve their continuing education goals and advance their careers.

Daniel Belcher, engineering services manager, Michigan Department of Transportation, said, “MDOT is proud to co-host this year’s first Bentley LEARNing Conference, which is being held in Michigan this May. One hundred members of our team are looking forward to participating in the conference’s learning and networking opportunities.”

George Church, Bentley Systems senior vice president, user advantage, said, “At our 2014 Bentley LEARNing Conferences, the learning is empowered by a mix of networking and social learning opportunities, along with interactive workshops and lectures that enable users to do a deep dive into the features and benefits of the software products and services they need to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.

“Better still, each conference is structured to make it easy for attendees to share what they learn with others in their respective organizations. I invite and encourage each of our users to join us at these information-rich learning experiences!”

The format of the Bentley LEARNing Conferences is perfectly aligned with Bentley’s new SELECT Open Access “Software at your Service” Quarterly Term Licensing program. SELECT Open Access provides subscribers unrestricted portfolio-wide access to Bentley’s offerings so that they can utilize a “playlist” of applications comprising the best mix of software for their respective disciplines on a given project. The Bentley LEARNing Conferences give SELECT Open Access subscribers with Bentley LEARN subscriptions an ideal opportunity to get the tailored learning they need to take full advantage of Bentley’s portfolio to advance both project performance and infrastructure asset performance.

Conference networking opportunities will enable users to connect with industry peers from user groups, special interest groups (SIGs), and/or Be Communities, and to interface with Bentley subject-matter experts, trainers, and executives. Attendees will also be able to receive targeted advice to hone or expand their skill sets and increase their productivity in project workflows.
